ADHD
What is ADHD?
ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects both children and adults. It is characterized by difficulties with focus, impulsivity, and hyperactivity.
People with ADHD may struggle with organizing tasks, staying on track, or controlling impulses, which can impact their daily lives and relationships. While the exact cause is unclear, genetics and brain chemistry are known to play a role.
With the right support, including therapy, lifestyle changes, and sometimes medication, individuals with ADHD can thrive and manage their symptoms effectively.
Note:
For all new ADHD patients, referral by an in person provider is required to be treated virtually for all stimulant prescriptions.
